Role Summary

The System Integration Specialist plays a crucial role in connecting business requirements with technical solutions. This position requires close collaboration with stakeholders to gather needs, validate technical frameworks, and pinpoint system integration requirements. The Specialist will collaborate with technology experts to ensure that procurement decisions are made cohesively and that projects are executed smoothly and effectively.

  • Engage with business stakeholders to collect and analyze technical requirements related to procurement research initiatives and support implementation efforts.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with technology experts to validate technical frameworks and system design and implementation requirements.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments for proposed solutions, evaluating risks and recommending suitable strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for system integration and interoperability.
  • Work with relevant technical experts to establish protocols, data formats, and APIs for system integration.
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of integrated systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to technical specifications, integration protocols, and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Technology, Systems, Digital, and Operations, to ensure effective project execution.
  • Assess the effectiveness of project outcomes and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Education

Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not mandatory.

Experience

A minimum of 2 years of experience in technical project analysis or related roles.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on technical requirements.
  • Ability to interpret and document technical specifications.
  • Proficiency in API development and integration.
  • Strong understanding of data formats such as JSON and SQL.
  • Proficient in time management, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
