About the Role

Cannon Corp is seeking a highly skilled Regional Survey Manager to lead our surveying team in Southern California. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing survey projects, developing business opportunities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of surveyors and coordinate survey work with clients, office staff, and field crews.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to expand our surveying services to new and existing clients.
  • Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and schedules for survey projects.
  • Oversee the delivery of survey projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Represent Cannon Corp and our clients in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with peers to maintain a positive and productive team environment.
  • Mentor and manage employees, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible work experience in land surveying.
  • PLS certification required.
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting and organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a technical team and work effectively with peers, project managers, and clients.
  • Experience in business development, obtaining new and repeat business.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Land Surveyor's Act, Subdivision Map Act, and applicable state and local agency regulations.
  • Experience reviewing deeds and title documents, performing property boundary analysis and calculations.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D software and survey field equipment.
