HVAC Sales Counter Specialist

As a Counter Sales Specialist at Johnstone Supply, you will play a crucial role in our customer service operations. Our company, a family-owned HVAC/R wholesale distributor, has been serving the industry since 1987, with multiple branch locations across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and support, ensuring they feel valued and understood.
- Recommend and order HVAC/R products, focusing on quality and customer needs.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients through effective communication.
- Address and resolve common technical issues, handle incoming sales inquiries, and manage customer complaints.
- Stay informed about HVAC/R fundamentals and product offerings to assist customers effectively.
- Process customer transactions accurately, including quotes, warranties, and order management.
- Adhere to the established pricing structure to maintain profitability.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- A Technical Diploma in HVAC/R or two years of relevant work experience in the HVAC/R sector is necessary.
- Experience in a wholesale environment, particularly in HVAC/R, is essential.
- Front counter experience in customer service is required.
- Strong customer orientation with the ability to effectively meet and service client needs.
- Team-oriented mindset to achieve branch objectives.
- Proficiency in business math, point of sale systems, and HVAC/R product research.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
