Client Support Specialist
We are in search of a Client Support Specialist to become a vital part of our team at the Wake County Department of Housing. This department provides essential services to individuals experiencing homelessness, including shelter, meals, hygiene supplies, and access to various support programs. The Client Support Specialist will engage in outreach efforts, oversee facility operations, and assist residents under the guidance of the Shift Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the shelter
- Process guest admissions and ensure the security of the facility
- Supervise the premises, monitor guest activities, and uphold cleanliness standards
- Support residents with daily living tasks and document behaviors
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with homeless populations is preferred
- Associate's Degree in Human Services is advantageous
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and relevant technologies
