Job Overview

This position is designed for remote work, ideally situated in South Florida.

Role Responsibilities

The Market Manager for Heaven Hill Brands will lead and implement strategic brand initiatives in collaboration with distributors and retail partners across various channels. This role is essential in executing local sales strategies and promotional activities aimed at enhancing brand visibility, expanding distribution, and increasing revenue. The Market Manager will work closely with local distributor teams to coordinate efforts and gather insights that may influence business outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess a proactive mindset, demonstrating enthusiasm, initiative, and a strong work ethic in a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Overseeing sales planning and priorities in alignment with Heaven Hill Brands objectives, ensuring accountability among distributors.
  • Consistently communicating and reinforcing brand goals as the primary representative of Heaven Hill Brands within the state.
  • Exhibiting a professional demeanor and embracing structured sales methodologies while being open to coaching and change.
  • Equipping distributor sales teams with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively implement brand strategies.
  • Promoting and maintaining Heaven Hill's sales and distribution standards during training sessions and retail visits.
  • Analyzing and reporting program outcomes to distributor managers and the Regional Manager.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with key personnel in significant retail accounts.
  • Developing strategic connections with influential individuals within distributor organizations.
  • Managing territory systematically to maximize coverage and maintain regular contact with key customers and distributor staff.
  • Optimizing time management for enhanced efficiency and strategic execution.
  • Ensuring compliance with national account directives and opportunities communicated by the National Account Teams.
  • Submitting comprehensive market reports on a monthly basis to the Regional Manager.
  • Demonstrating initiative in personal development and leveraging internal resources for continuous learning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in the beverage alcohol sector.
  • Strong analytical abilities, particularly in data collection and presentation.
  • Proficient knowledge of sales and marketing principles, including strategy, product promotion, and sales techniques.
  • Effective managerial and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in Management and/or Marketing.
  • Advanced computer skills.

Physical Requirements:
While performing job duties, the employee may occasionally need to stand, walk, use hands for handling objects, and operate a computer. Lifting or moving up to 20 pounds may be required.
