Position Overview

How You Will Contribute

  • The Associate Brand Strategist will conduct thorough analysis of the pet supplement industry to uncover potential growth avenues. This role involves tracking market dynamics and competitor movements to inform strategic decisions.
  • Maintain a comprehensive competitive analysis grid that outlines product offerings, pricing strategies, and promotional activities for Great HealthWorks and its competitors across various channels, including direct sales and veterinary markets.
  • The Junior Brand Marketing Specialist will create and manage a promotional calendar that spans multiple marketing channels.
  • Assist the Brand Marketing Manager and Sales Director in organizing sales events, industry conferences, and trade exhibitions, including the preparation of marketing and sales materials.
  • Oversee the annual marketing budget, ensuring accurate monthly tracking of expenditures and coordinating financial resources across relevant departments.
  • Collaborate with the Ecommerce Manager, Brand Marketing Manager, and Marketplace Manager to ensure timely creation and availability of marketing assets for direct-to-consumer and marketplace initiatives.
  • Engage in the planning and development of brand materials and marketing collateral for digital campaigns, social media, and events, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines. Support the creation of launch and training resources for new product introductions.
  • Work closely with Social Media and Influencer teams to foster engagement with audiences and develop creative content for platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with the complete marketing mix, including digital media planning and execution.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Google Analytics is a plus.
  • Background in consumer packaged goods or healthcare supplements is preferred.
  • Ability to work a standard full-time schedule with flexibility for additional hours as needed.
