Job Title: Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at The Budd Group. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for driving high-frequency, quick sales cycle sales and identifying new business opportunities in a defined region.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Specialty Services Sales: Identify, close, and move service work to the appropriate manager.
  • Lead Research: Research potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital marketing resources.
  • Cold Calling: Make multiple outbound calls to leads and prospects.
  • Sales Appointments: Secure in-person sales appointments.
  • Presentation and Delivery: Present and/or deliver digital information to potential clients as needed.
  • Lead Qualification: Qualify leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, trade shows, etc. through digital campaigns.
  • Trade Shows and Events: Participate in trade shows, networking events, and community events as needed.
Main Qualifications/Skills:
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in full life cycle sales, prospecting, cold calling, creating and presenting proposals, and closing deals.
  • Communication Skills: Professional communication skills verbally and in writing.
  • Organization Skills: Excellent organization skills capable of canvassing several markets at once with a goal to expand company with new sales, clients, and territories.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team.
  • Technical Skills: Strong computer skills, digital marketing skills, and CRM skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce, Outreach, and Pardot.
  • Driver's License: Must have a valid Driver's License - This position requires up to 50% in-market travel.
