Job Summary

Mountain Alarm Fire & Security is seeking a skilled and dedicated Alarm Technician to join our team in Great Falls, Montana. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and inspecting various security systems, including alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Installation and Service: Install, service, and inspect security alarms and associated low-voltage systems, as well as fire alarm, CCTV, and access control systems.
  • System Testing and Inspection: Conduct thorough testing and inspection of systems to ensure they meet prescribed standards.
  • Emergency Troubleshooting: Provide on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customers' security equipment.
  • Service Tickets and Reports: Prepare accurate and timely service tickets and reports.
  • Customer Service: Ensure a high level of customer service, satisfaction, and communication.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a clean and safe work environment on and off site.
  • Team Collaboration: Interface successfully with Administration, Sales, Customers, and Management within the company.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma / GED
  • Experience: Experience with service and installation of burglar alarms, fire alarms, access control, and cameras.
  • Customer Service Skills: Exemplary customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work with small tools and equipment.
  • Personal Qualities: Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable, and well-organized.
  • Driving Record: Must have a clean driving record and a valid Driver's License.
  • Language: Must read and speak English.
