Job Summary

Avmax Montana Inc is seeking a highly skilled Avionics Technician to join our team in Great Falls, MT. As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on customer and company aircraft under the supervision of a qualified technician or Lead A&P Technician.

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on aircraft avionics systems
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow
  • Ensure work environment is safe and clean
  • Promote company values, vision, and mission
  • Demonstrate capability and competency in field of expertise
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization
  • Possess strong fundamental aircraft knowledge
  • Builds quality capability and responsiveness for Avmax
  • Carry out maintenance repairs on customer and company aircraft under the supervision of a qualified technician or Lead A&P Technician
  • Completely and accurately sign off work in progress documentation and work cards for work accomplished
  • Report unserviceable equipment to assigned Lead A&P Technician and/or delegate
  • Notify Lead A&P Technician of all defects discovered during maintenance
  • Attend training courses as directed by company management
Requirements
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization
  • A&P Certified is preferred, but not required
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in the field
Physical Demands
  • Occasionally lift 50 pounds

  • Stand for extended periods of time
  • Work at heights of greater than 10 feet utilizing fall restraint equipment as necessary
