Mountain Alarm Fire & Security is seeking a skilled Alarm Technician to join our team in Great Falls, Montana. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and inspecting various security systems, including alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
Key Responsibilities- System Installation and Service: Install, service, and inspect security alarms and associated low-voltage systems, as well as fire alarm, CCTV, and access control systems.
- System Testing and Inspection: Conduct thorough testing and inspection of security systems to ensure they meet prescribed standards.
- Emergency Troubleshooting: Provide on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customers' security equipment.
- Service Ticket Management: Prepare accurate and timely service tickets and reports.
- Customer Service: Ensure a high level of customer service, satisfaction, and communication.
- Work Environment: Maintain a clean and safe work environment on and off site.
- Team Collaboration: Interface successfully with Administration, Sales, Customers, and Management within the company.
- Education: High School Diploma / GED.
- Experience: Experience with service and installation of burglar alarms, fire alarms, access control, and cameras.
- Customer Service Skills: Exemplary customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work with small tools and equipment.
- Personal Qualities: Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable, and well-organized.
- Driving Record: Must have a clean driving record and a valid Driver's License.
- Language: Must read and speak English.
