Job Summary

The Float Patient Services Representative plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics. As a member of the Float team, you will be responsible for coordinating and participating in various duties associated with daily clinic preparation, patient identification, patient check-in, charge posting, cash management, and basic patient appointment scheduling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinates and participates in daily clinic preparation, including patient identification, check-in, and charge posting.
  • Provides excellent customer service, conveying a positive image and ensuring patients' needs are met.
  • Manages cash and performs basic patient appointment scheduling.
  • Works independently and collaboratively as part of the Float team.
  • Supports multiple departments and locations, with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Previous public contact position and basic computer skills.
  • Experience using fax machines, copiers, and other general office equipment.
  • Successful completion of medical terminology course within one year of start date.
