About the Role

Path Construction is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Assistant to support our organization in Arlington Heights, IL. As a rapidly growing commercial general contractor, we require a creative, outgoing, responsible, and detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support to our project management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general office and clerical duties, including maintaining files, creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets, answering and routing phone calls, greeting clients and guests, ordering office supplies, and assisting IT and computer operations.
  • Support the project and estimating staff, including daily tasks such as creating agendas for events, helping plan Path events, maintaining contracts with third parties, and assisting the accounting department.
  • Prepare executive correspondence, run errands, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Construction experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Associate degree or higher is a plus.
  • Flexible, self-motivated, and willing to adapt to changing needs.
  • Quick learner, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Able to meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license with a positive motor vehicle record.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
