Electrical Systems Program Manager, Infrastructure Engineering

We are seeking an Electrical Systems Program Manager with a strong background in electrical design, evaluation, testing, and upkeep to become a vital member of our Base-Building Electrical Engineering team.

The successful candidate will be a proactive professional with a demonstrated history of enhancing electrical system maintenance strategies and protocols, skilled in developing inspection methodologies, and capable of analyzing trends in electrical system documentation and audit results related to electrical and associated risks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel requirements may reach up to 60%.
  • Design and refine maintenance strategies and protocols for electrical systems across warehouse facilities, including evaluations of current practices in line with local regulations and global standards.
  • Collaborate with Risk Management and other essential stakeholders to update electrical system maintenance strategies, ensuring alignment with insurance prerequisites, including system evaluations and testing.
  • Execute detailed calculations to set standards and specifications.
  • Assess installations and monitor operations to confirm adherence to design and equipment specifications as well as safety regulations.
  • Utilize computer-assisted engineering tools to conduct engineering activities.
  • Provide support to operations, construction, and other relevant teams with product development and testing initiatives.
  • Conduct audits of electrical system maintenance practices worldwide to pinpoint discrepancies and recommend corrective measures.
  • Investigate equipment failures and propose solutions for mitigation.
  • Track trends in electrical system maintenance reports and escalate issues as necessary to enhance maintenance efforts or implement immediate corrective actions.
  • Facilitate training and initiation of electrical system maintenance and impairment strategies at new operational sites.
  • Create and enforce procedures for monitoring, diagnosing, and maintaining asset performance.
  • Collaborate with Internal Audit, Risk Management, Safety, and/or Real Estate to assess internal and external audit findings related to electrical and associated risks, including building authority audits and insurance evaluations.
Essential Duties:

  • Ensure adherence to technical guidelines, standards, policies, and legal requirements.
  • Conduct power system analysis and design, including short circuit, power flow, coordination, arc flash, and harmonics analysis studies.
  • Suggest improvements to processes, products, or services to address internal and/or external business challenges and regulatory concerns.
  • Contribute to the formulation of the team's functional strategy.
  • Participate in investigations of all electrical-related incidents and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
