Position Summary

The Systems Infrastructure Engineer plays a crucial role in enhancing and sustaining computer systems while transitioning operational workflows and communications to digital platforms.

This position often requires flexibility in working hours to manage upgrades or repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to daily business activities.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to prioritize essential tasks and oversee the development and enhancement of our systems, ensuring that updates and maintenance do not interfere with routine operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identifies application issues by collaborating with clients and assessing existing procedures.
  • Formulates solutions by analyzing and evaluating alternative workflow strategies.
  • Oversees solution implementation by setting specifications and coordinating with IT Business Analysts.
  • Validates outcomes through rigorous testing programs.
  • Ensures operational continuity by training client personnel and providing ongoing support.
  • Documents processes and solutions for future reference.
  • Enhances professional knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and staying updated with industry publications.
  • Contributes to the organization's mission by achieving related objectives as required.
  • Performs additional duties as necessary.

Education and Experience

Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

3-5 years of experience in complex systems design, implementation, and support.

Preferred certifications include Microsoft and/or Cisco, though not mandatory.
