Key Responsibilities
MEDICAL BILLING AND COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST
The Georgia Business Center operates as a centralized office providing billing and collection services for various Universal Health Services (UHS) hospitals. We are currently expanding our operations and are in search of skilled Medical Billing and Collections Specialists to assist with our growing client base.
Primary Duties Include:
Medical Billing and Collections Specialists will be tasked with:
- Reaching out to patients regarding outstanding accounts to request payments and establish payment arrangements.
- Communicating with insurance providers for payment status and necessary updates.
- Ensuring that a high volume of contacts is made daily while accurately documenting account interactions.
- Utilizing a follow-up report to schedule timely outreach to patients and payors concerning overdue accounts.
- Recording clear and precise notes in the system to reflect the current status of claims and accounts.
