National Sales Manager

At PRO EM National Event Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Sales Manager to lead our high-performing Account Executive team. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for formulating integrated sales strategies and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Direction: Provide strong leadership and direction to the sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Performance Evaluations: Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to drive individual and team growth.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the Chief Revenue Officer to define sales goals, objectives, and strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Evaluate market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Sales Budgeting: Oversee the development and management of sales budgets, ensuring alignment with company financial goals.
  • Sales Performance: Monitor sales performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Sales Data Analysis: Analyze sales data and metrics to measure effectiveness and optimize resource allocation.
  • Pipeline Management: Implement effective pipeline management processes to ensure visibility and accuracy of sales opportunities.
  • Lead Qualification: Collaborate with sales team members to qualify leads, prioritize opportunities, and drive sales cycle efficiency.
  • KPIs: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team and establish benchmarks for success.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor KPIs regularly to track progress towards goals and identify areas for improvement.
  • Performance Optimization: Take proactive measures to address performance gaps and optimize sales performance.
  • Industry Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to sales management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the sales team, implementing new processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into sales performance, trends, and forecasts.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with the Chief Revenue Officer to ensure transparency and alignment on sales objectives, initiatives, and results.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with experience in managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong analytical and financial acumen, with experience in budget management, revenue forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic Planning: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Leadership Qualities: Leadership qualities such as vision, decisiveness, resilience, and adaptability.
