The SBLD Loan Specialist II plays a crucial role in managing the operations of the loan department, ensuring that both external borrower requirements and internal lender needs are effectively met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage loan documentation efficiently.
  • Oversee lien perfection and release processes.
  • Conduct report reconciliation to maintain accuracy.
  • Handle Night End Processing for the core data system utilized for SBA and USDA loans.
  • Deliver exceptional customer support to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review electronic and physical files for eligibility, overdue accounts, new loans, and repurchase packages.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, including the completion of necessary compliance training.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental objectives.

  • Strong time management abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capacity to read and understand simple instructions, brief correspondence, and memos.
  • Aptitude for analyzing and interpreting financial reports and legal documents.
  • Ability to comprehend procedure manuals, business correspondence, and government regulations.
  • Proficient in writing clear correspondence.
  • Capability to draft routine reports and business communications.
  • Comfortable speaking in front of groups, whether customers or colleagues.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Two to four years of experience in Loan Administration.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
