Job Overview

The Security Operations Specialist II plays a crucial role in safeguarding the assets and personnel of Stephens. This position is responsible for maintaining a secure environment through vigilant monitoring and proactive engagement with all individuals accessing the premises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage entry points to ensure only authorized individuals gain access to Stephens facilities, providing a courteous greeting and assistance as needed.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Conduct regular patrols, both on foot and via vehicle, to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security risks.
  • Utilize surveillance systems to monitor activities and respond to incidents effectively.
  • Address unauthorized individuals on company property and take appropriate action to ensure safety.
  • Maintain a high level of awareness for suspicious behavior and safety hazards, taking corrective measures as necessary.
  • Provide assistance during emergencies, including first aid and coordination with law enforcement when required.
  • Document security incidents and maintain accurate records of activities and observations.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance overall security awareness and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Participate in security audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess an Associate's degree or equivalent experience in law enforcement, military, or corporate security. A minimum of two years of relevant experience is required.

Certifications

Must hold a valid driver's license and maintain an active Arkansas Armed Security Officer Commission. CPR/AED and Basic First Aid certifications are also required.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to meet physical demands, including the capacity to respond to emergencies, engage in physical activity, and maintain mental alertness throughout shifts.
