Position Overview: As a Facilities Systems Support Specialist II, you will:

Take charge of the technical oversight for all facility systems outside the IT domain. Your responsibilities will encompass managing physical security, audio/video systems, environmental controls, data center operations, and space optimization. You will also be involved in routine facility maintenance, supporting conference and auditorium A/V systems, researching A/V and CCTV hardware options, and integrating facility software solutions.

Qualifications: To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A High School Diploma (or GED)
  • A minimum of 3 years in technical systems support
  • Capability to manage and coordinate multiple technical support tasks
  • Experience in vendor coordination
  • Effective communication skills with all organizational levels and contractors
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities
  • Ability to work independently
  • Organizational skills for maintaining reports and logs
  • Availability for after-hours support and on-call duties
  • Analytical skills to troubleshoot system issues and implement solutions
  • Proficiency in interpreting safety regulations and operational manuals
  • Basic computer skills and system integration experience
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Collaboration with various teams to achieve objectives
  • Experience with low voltage systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Audio/Video design and functionality
  • Familiarity with physical security systems, including card access and CCTV
  • Knowledge of office space planning and building systems

Work Schedule: This is a full-time role, typically Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Overtime may be necessary.

Travel Requirements: Minimal travel (5-15%) is expected for this position.
