Job Title: Electrical Substation Superintendent

At TransForce, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Substation Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of work performed by our crews, coordinating with clients, and overseeing the safety and productivity of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all work is performed according to specifications and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with clients to ensure timely and accurate billing.
  • Monitor crew safety, quality, and productivity, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and repair, and ensure that all necessary documentation is up to date.
  • Review personnel performance, including safety, quality, and productivity metrics.
  • Ensure that all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and maintained.
  • Attend project meetings with clients and provide regular updates on project status.
  • Generate and maintain accurate records of project progress and completion.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues associated with project scope, schedule, and budget.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical substation construction and maintenance.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Valid Class B commercial driver's license.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
  • Ability to lift and handle materials up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
