Position Overview

The Center for Orthopedic and Research Excel is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Relationship Manager to foster connections within the medical community and enhance patient engagement.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar role. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with healthcare providers, insurance companies, patients, and the public. The candidate must successfully complete the required competency assessment within the initial six months of employment.

Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Core Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates and sustains effective communication with the Marketing and Communications Department, healthcare providers, clinics, and other necessary departments.
  • Conducts a minimum of three days per week of visits to various accounts within the designated territory, including primary care providers, specialists, and other referral sources.
  • Identifies and pursues innovative opportunities within the assigned territory to enhance community involvement and brand visibility, leading to patient growth.
  • Maintains and updates the referral programs for both physicians and patients, including referral information, platforms, and databases, collaborating with the Marketing and Communications Department as needed.
  • Works collaboratively with the contact center to ensure efficient processing and scheduling of referred patients.
  • Contributes to the planning and execution of both internal and external special events.
  • Assists in the organization and implementation of educational programs for physicians to promote community awareness and strengthen relationships with the broader community.
  • Adheres to a marketing and physician relations budget for the fiscal year.
  • Promotes the organization within the medical community to establish partnerships and consistent referral patterns.
  • Aims to meet or exceed established goals for physician relations, departmental objectives, and organizational targets.
