Sodexo's Campus Division is on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Marketing Coordinator for a prominent university.

The Senior Marketing Coordinator will enhance the client experience through a meticulously crafted marketing approach aimed at boosting sales and client satisfaction. This role involves drafting communications for students and stakeholders to ensure program awareness and managing event logistics. The Marketing Coordinator will actively engage with the student community to gather genuine feedback and insights while supporting digital platforms and analyzing data to develop relevant content. If you have a track record of effectively presenting to leadership and the student body, mentoring marketing interns, and implementing innovative concepts in campus dining, this role will provide an excellent opportunity for leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Managers, Clients, the District Manager, and Vice President on all marketing-related matters.
  • Oversee and coordinate all marketing initiatives at the account level, working with other Managers, Supervisors, and Frontline Staff.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in social media management.

Marketing, Communications & Public Relations:

  • Develop a strategic marketing, communications, and PR framework that elevates the profile and public perception of University Dining.
  • Manage all marketing and communications activities for University Dining, including publications and social media outreach.
  • Ensure the desired image and positioning of University Dining are consistently communicated across all platforms.
  • Conduct relevant market research with a focus on student engagement within the university context.
  • Oversee activities to monitor trends and develop strategies for optimization.
  • Lead special projects, such as promoting meal plans, increasing retail revenues, and organizing events.
  • Manage the production and distribution of all University Dining publications.
  • Ensure the consistent branding of University Dining's print materials, social media, website, and promotional materials.

Client Relations:

  • Engage with University Dining staff and key stakeholders to maintain a strategic outlook.
  • Coordinate critical client communications, including annual plans and semester evaluations.
  • Participate in client meetings to align University mission and values with programming.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional creative, strategic, analytical, organizational, and sales capabilities.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to collaborative leadership and cross-functional teamwork.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in designing and executing a comprehensive marketing, communications, and public relations strategy.
  • Proven success in developing and managing a multi-channel communication approach.
  • Familiarity with current trends in the Hospitality, Foodservice, and Educational sectors is highly desirable.
  • Experience in budget development and management.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering presentations.
  • Experience overseeing the design and production of marketing materials.
  • Proven ability to influence and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience in data reporting and analysis.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing.
