Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the architectural design process from initial concept through to completion, ensuring alignment with project managers' specifications.
  • Develop, modify, and review detailed production drawings for a variety of facilities, including healthcare, educational institutions, and governmental projects.
  • Engage in project scheduling, scope definition, budget management, and construction planning, while effectively managing change orders.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of architectural principles, practices, codes, and procedures to compile reports and write specifications.
  • Apply expertise to complex projects, identifying and developing innovative design solutions.
  • Conduct quality reviews of production drawings and project-related data to ensure compliance with project and industry standards.
  • Oversee construction administration, coordinating with field personnel to address design-related installation challenges.
  • Lead field inspections and measurements for both public and private sector clients.
  • Prepare and present technical reports for clients and industry publications.
  • Foster strong relationships with existing clients and contractors while pursuing new business opportunities to meet customer satisfaction goals.
  • Participate in sales and marketing initiatives, identifying and managing key pursuits.
  • Guide the development of cost proposals and qualification statements to meet financial performance targets.
  • Manage project budgets and cost estimates, reporting on project performance.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and engineers.
  • Ensure adherence to QA/QC processes and effective communication among architectural teams.
  • Comply with company and site safety policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this role is between $115,000 and $170,000 annually, based on various factors including education, qualifications, and experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution with a minimum of 8 years of architectural experience, preferably in consulting.
  • Expertise in standard architectural techniques and procedures.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and architectural software such as BIM (Revit), Adobe Suites, and 3D rendering tools.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities in a quantitative environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, team collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Experience leading large projects and delegating tasks effectively.
  • Ability to conduct quality reviews of architectural documents and specifications.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Registered Architect designation is preferred.
