Clinic Coordinator Role at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clinic Coordinator to join our team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5pm, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

About the Job

The Clinic Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule complex appointment sets across disciplines for oncology patients in accordance with scheduling guidelines
  • Monitor scheduling reports to ensure accuracy and optimize resource utilization
  • Maintain confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI)
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external customers
  • Participate in training new team members as requested
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience working in a customer service setting or medical field
  • Proficiency in technology and complex computer systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to take on additional responsibilities as situations require
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 per year, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
