Position Overview

Coffman Engineers is in search of a Senior Structural Engineer for our Spokane Office. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team member, eager for a stimulating and fulfilling role within a dynamic and progressive organization.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related discipline
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering (preferred)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration, with Structural Engineer (SE) preferred
  • Seven to ten years of experience in structural design for buildings or similar structures
  • Proficiency in software applications and analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, RISA, RAM, Mathcad, Enercalc, ETABS, etc.)
  • Design experience with various materials, including steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and light gauge (preferred)
  • Familiarity with the International Building Code (IBC) and U.S. design standards
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to maintain productive relationships with clients
  • Project management experience (preferred)
  • Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team (preferred)
Compensation

The expected annual salary ranges from $100,000 to $115,000.
