Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Director to lead our medical sales team in the regional market. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales initiatives.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to sales team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Manage and analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and develop action plans to address them.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years' outside sales experience, with at least 7 years in the medical/medical device industry and 4 years in sales management.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership, with a strong understanding of sales strategies, tactics, and metrics.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Experience in the pain management, spinal surgery, or related specialties.
  • Clinical knowledge of lumbar spine anatomy, physiology, and imaging techniques.
  • Experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce.com.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position, with up to 75% travel required, including weekends and evenings. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a home office environment, with a dedicated office and high-speed internet connectivity.
