Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Oversight:

  • Accurately receive, count, and document incoming inventory.
  • Monitor stock levels and resolve discrepancies between inventory records and physical counts.
  • Assist in performing regular inventory audits to verify accuracy and address any issues.

Data Management and Record Keeping:

  • Input inventory data into computerized systems and keep records up to date.
  • Produce inventory reports and summaries as needed.
  • Maintain documentation related to inventory movements, adjustments, and transfers.

Order Processing:

  • Prepare and fulfill orders based on inventory levels and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to ensure precise and timely order processing.

Stock Monitoring and Replenishment:

  • Track stock levels and initiate replenishment orders as necessary.
  • Engage with vendors and suppliers regarding inventory shipments and deliveries.

Quality Assurance:

  • Examine incoming inventory for damages, defects, or discrepancies.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures for incoming goods.

Inventory Efficiency:

  • Identify opportunities to enhance inventory management processes and reduce costs.
  • Implement best practices for inventory control and management.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient inventory operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
