Job Description

Job Title: Financial Analyst - Inventory Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst - Inventory Specialist to join our team at Essilor International SA. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances with the inventory control team.
  • Perform monthly audits to ensure internal controls are being followed and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain and update Cycle Count summary files and provide regular progress reports to management.
  • Collaborate with the DC and Supply Chain teams to improve 3PL warehouse reporting and validation of inventory.
  • Work with the Manager to create and maintain KPI and reporting dashboards for SBT inventory shrink reporting.
  • Partner with the Field Service organization and Commercial team to ensure established processes are being followed.
  • Work with the VMI team to identify and address outliers and potential issues at the store level.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Team/Retail Operations to ensure timely removal of items from the virtual warehouse for returns.
  • Develop and maintain tracking dashboards for actual store visit coverage and frequency of visit.
  • Track and disclose high shrink doors to commercial by account.

Requirements:

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn other systems (M3, TM1, BI tool).
  • Highly organized individual with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-Starter with ability to be independent in critical thinking.
  • Excellent oral, written, and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization and outside vendors.
  • Drive to learn, grow, and develop knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to work in various environments.
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or other relevant field required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP and other relevant systems.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and control processes.
