Job Responsibilities:

  • Performing regular physical inventory counts and reconciling them with company records.
  • Identifying and documenting any discrepancies between physical counts and internal records.
  • Generating detailed reports on inventory processes, stock levels, and adjustments.
  • Assessing and enhancing inventory management procedures for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborating with the purchasing department and other teams to ensure accurate tracking and recording of products.
  • Conducting routine audits of internal systems to confirm they accurately represent inventory levels.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports by supplying inventory data.
  • Participating in annual audits and providing necessary documentation to auditors.
  • Working with various departments to ensure seamless operations and effective inventory management.

Qualifications:
To qualify for the Inventory Control Specialist position, candidates should possess the following:

  • At least 5 years of experience in inventory management, ideally as an Inventory Auditor.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and databases.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify numerical discrepancies.
  • Good organizational and planning abilities.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Physical capability to handle the workload, including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
  • Experience in conducting audits and preparing comprehensive reports.
  • Understanding of inventory management and manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles related to inventory.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A Bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
