Position Summary:

A manufacturing facility is currently seeking a Quality Control and Inventory Management Specialist for their first shift. These are temporary-to-permanent roles that present an excellent entry-level opportunity to become a full-time member of a dynamic team, contingent on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to all essential inventory practices
  • Support and maintain the high level of inventory accuracy required by our organization and clients
  • Operate Electric Pallet Jacks, Reach Forklifts, and Sit-Down Forklifts
  • Conduct daily cycle counts
  • Document and record discrepancies
  • Audit, investigate, and rectify inventory issues as necessary
  • Coordinate and execute inventory movements
  • Perform product maintenance as required
  • Maintain bins and warehouse organization
  • Inspect output samples using industry-standard methods, including comparisons to benchmarks, measuring dimensions, and assessing functionality
  • Verify that production lines comply with standards and regulations
  • Review blueprints and specifications to ensure alignment with produced goods
  • Document inspection results by completing reports, summarizing reworks and waste, and entering data into the quality database

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • A minimum of three years' experience in the warehouse sector and/or familiarity with telecom products is advantageous
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Basic proficiency with personal computers and tablets
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats
  • Proven time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Compensation: Starting hourly pay is $18.36+, depending on experience.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1st Shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM.

Employment Type: Temporary to Hire Position.

Compliance: E-Verify.

Work Environment: Non-climate controlled facility.
