Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth registration and admission process for our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Accurately complete patient registration, admission, and scheduling processes, ensuring compliance with CCHMC policies and procedures.
  • Support the Revenue Cycle, Health Information Management, and Regulatory departments by obtaining and entering necessary data, information, and forms into the appropriate system.
  • Ensure patient safety by identifying the correct patient, identifying special needs, and preparing isolation precautions for patients with infectious disease indicators.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect patient/family personal medical and financial information at all times.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related experience required, but healthcare-related experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of EPIC or other similar EMR systems is a plus.
  • Proficient with MS Office and Windows applications.
