Position: Conservatorship Account Coordinator/Accounts Receivable Specialist

Role Summary:

Siporin & Associates, Inc. is seeking a dedicated professional to spearhead the management of assets for new clients while collaborating closely with the accounts receivable division. This role involves thorough research and outreach to financial institutions, investors, and account managers to gather pertinent information and facilitate the transfer of assets into the newly created conservatorship files. Responsibilities include working alongside internal team members to establish initial budgets and assist in the opening and reconciliation of bank and investment accounts. Additionally, the coordinator will be responsible for issuing monthly invoices and following up on outstanding receivables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize assets for reporting to the Probate Court.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with key personnel associated with client accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external financial advisors to foster strong partnerships.
  • Conduct investigations and research on client accounts.
  • Act as the primary liaison between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Reconcile monthly bank and investment statements.
  • Follow up on accounts receivable through calls and communications.
  • Handle various other accounting responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive account information.
