iMPact Business Group is currently in search of a dedicated and proactive individual to fulfill the role of Office Operations Coordinator.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is responsible for delivering administrative assistance within the Business Operations sector, supporting various leaders in Gas and Electric Distribution across multiple sites. The Office Operations Coordinator may engage in the following areas: Gas and Electric Distribution assistance, Field Manager support, or specialized projects. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing payroll functions, including rectifying system interface discrepancies and processing timesheets.
  • Handling Equivalent Straight Time allocations, postings, and distributions in accordance with the Union Working Agreement.
  • Executing Accounts Payable tasks, which encompass the creation and processing of Purchase Requisitions.
  • Conducting purchase card reconciliations.
  • Overseeing 664 Processing to ensure compliance with MDOT regulations.
  • Facilitating check requests.
  • Sorting and distributing mail.
  • Performing other related administrative duties as required.
  • Physical tasks may include lifting and/or carrying items weighing between 5-35 lbs.

The ideal candidate will be adept at collaborating with teams from diverse backgrounds, understanding their administrative requirements and needs.

A strong reliance on established Policies, Procedures, Job Aids, and guidelines is essential for executing the responsibilities of this role.

The successful applicant will demonstrate proficient computer skills, along with the ability and willingness to learn and utilize various specialized software applications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience Required: 0 to 1 year of relevant work experience; this is an entry-level opportunity.

Preferred Experience:
- Some background in administrative or clerical functions
- Familiarity with SAP is advantageous
- Strong foundation in customer service

Education Required: High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education: Some college coursework

Additional Information:
- Physical tasks may involve lifting and/or carrying items weighing between 5-35 lbs.
- Occasional travel may be necessary.
- Overtime may be required.
