Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate logistics planning with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Manage inventory accuracy using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to optimize stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Handle on-call duties after hours to address any urgent issues that may arise.
  • Issue releases to vendors for production items to facilitate smooth production processes.
  • Coordinate receiving schedules and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Work with Manufacturing to designate storage locations to optimize warehouse space.
  • Verify receipt data entry and monitor raw materials flow to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist in training Receivers as needed to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Be an expert in Purchasing and Inventory databases to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments and report on Supplier Performance to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products.
Requirements
  • Community college diploma or relevant purchasing certification.
  • 3-5 years experience in the automotive industry.
  • 2 years of Inventory control experience.
  • Proficiency in database applications and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities.
  • Supervisory and interpersonal skills.
