Position Overview:

The Sales Manager is a vital member of our dynamic Sales Team, responsible for driving sales growth by leveraging professional relationships to acquire new accounts and expand sales within existing ones. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Logistics, Marketing, Quality, and R&D, to support and sustain our ongoing high-growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop targeted plans by account and region to fulfill both long-term and short-term objectives.
  • Oversee the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain regular communication with assigned clients to nurture account relationships, inform them of new product launches, and gather feedback.
  • Ensure the realization of business goals through effective distribution, volume management, promotional execution, new product introductions, and budget adherence.
  • Establish, implement, and oversee ongoing objectives for the broker network; conduct regular performance reviews with broker teams in the region. Direct distributors, brokers, and internal resources to meet sales targets. Propel new product and retail distribution efforts.
  • Successfully introduce products into new key retail locations, chains, and accounts.
  • Monitor customer performance to devise action plans that address challenges and capitalize on opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience with Food and/or Beverage products or other CPG products in a broker or consumer products company.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is required. An Associate degree with relevant experience may be considered.
  • Proven track record in executing sales strategies, expanding a portfolio, and delivering consistent positive business outcomes.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to cultivate and maintain excellent business relationships.
  • Proficient in forecasting, planning, and executing sales strategies.
  • High energy and a proactive approach to achieving results with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, including persuasive presentations to stakeholders.
  • Creative thinking abilities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in account management for grocery chain headquarters or regional grocery chains.
  • Distributor experience across various trade segments.
  • Broker management experience.
  • Background in the natural products industry or retail food market.

Compensation:

$30-70K + Commissions. Total package approximately 100K
