Job Overview:
As a Senior Program Management Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Program Executive Office (PEO), Integrated Warfare Systems (IWS). Your responsibilities will encompass Business and Financial Management, which includes the comprehensive Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES) as implemented within the Department of Defense, Department of Navy, and NAVSEA. PEO IWS is in search of adept business and financial support services to enhance their portfolio of programs, focusing on delivering Enterprise solutions for Naval Warfare Systems across various domains including Air Defense, Missile Defense, Undersea Warfare, Anti-Submarine Warfare, and Anti-Surface Warfare.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing prime contract engagements with the Government.
  • Support the Program Manager in overseeing individual program management, staffing, quality assurance, technical training, client interface activities, and project financial oversight.
  • Monitor program-level work assignments and management structures to ensure effective support activities.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of program-level quality control processes.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university; a Master's in Business Administration (M.B.A.) is preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
  • Significant professional experience in program/project management, ideally five or more years in Navy program management.
  • A minimum of seven years of supervisory experience with effective communication skills at the SES/Flag level.
  • Preferred familiarity with DoD/DoN procedures and policies (DoD 5000 process), Foreign Military Sales, and US Navy Programs (PEO IWS Programs).
  • A current US Secret clearance is mandatory.
