Key Responsibilities of the Activities Director include:
  • Designing, organizing, and executing a diverse range of activities for residents throughout the week.
  • Assessing the unique needs of each resident and developing tailored plans to meet those needs.
  • Engaging residents in the creation of recreational goals and objectives.
  • Facilitating community integration through organized activities and outings.
  • Building a positive reputation and fostering strong relationships within the community through various promotional efforts and displays.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a related discipline, with certification as an Activity Professional preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in activities management is preferred.
