Adjunct Instructor Sociology

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Sociology courses at the University of North Texas System. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality instruction, assessing student learning, and contributing to the academic community.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and teach Sociology courses, including core-curriculum courses and specialized topics
- Assess student learning and provide feedback to students
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and academic programs
- Participate in departmental and university-wide committees and initiatives
- Master's degree in Sociology or a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in Sociology
- Experience in teaching Sociology courses, preferably in a higher education setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive environment
- PhD in Sociology or a related field
- Experience in online course development and teaching
- Specialized work or teaching experience related to the course being taught
- Excellent communication skills in multicultural settings
