We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Criminal Justice courses at the University of North Texas System. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality instruction, assessing student learning outcomes, and contributing to the growth and development of the Criminal Justice program.
Responsibilities- Develop and teach a range of courses in Criminal Justice and Justice and Social Policy
- Assess student learning outcomes and provide feedback to students
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Criminal Justice program
- Participate in departmental and university service activities
- Master's degree in Criminal Justice or an equivalent discipline with at least 18 graduate hours in Criminal Justice
- Outstanding experience in teaching core-curriculum Criminal Justice courses
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- PhD in Criminal Justice or JD with significant experience in higher education
- Successful experience teaching adults in a post-secondary institution
- Specialized work-related or teaching experience that directly relates to the course being taught
- Experience in online course development and teaching
The University of North Texas System offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $4,000 per course, and opportunities for professional development and growth.
