Adjunct Instructor Pool for Music Appreciation

The University of North Texas System is seeking qualified candidates for Adjunct Instructor positions in Music Appreciation. As a member of our faculty, you will have the opportunity to teach introductory Music Appreciation courses with a focus on American Music from the late-19th century to the present.
Responsibilities- Teach Music Appreciation courses to students with varying levels of musical knowledge and experience.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and understanding of American Music.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure students meet course objectives.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and instructional materials.
- A Master of Fine Arts degree or a degree from a related field.
- Significant experience in college instruction, preferably in Music Appreciation or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.
- Familiarity with online modes of delivery and the ability to adapt to changing technology.
