Sales Development Manager

At Westland Distributing, we're seeking an exceptional Sales Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth in our Las Vegas, NV Branch. This role requires a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, who can build strong relationships with customers and prospects.
Job Description:The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of proven performance in an Outside Sales role, with construction/building materials/manufactured housing experience a plus. You will be responsible for creating a territory sales plan, scheduling appointments, and utilizing internal tracking tools to document sales activities. Additionally, you will provide training to new customers and assist with new account set up processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve or exceed sales targets
- Calls on current accounts and prospects in person to generate sales and build relationships
- Collaborate with the Branch Manager and Counter Sales staff to maximize revenue opportunities
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments to resolve issues and answer questions
- Provide feedback and recommendations to the Branch Manager and General Manager regarding new product needs, customer feedback, and market conditions
