About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Technician I to join our team at Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program. As a key member of our treatment team, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients on their journey to recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Support: Provide daily support to clients, including greeting new arrivals, facilitating treatment plans, and engaging in therapeutic groups to promote coping skills and relapse prevention.
  • Communication: Share vital information with the treatment team, maintain confidentiality, and ensure a safe and positive environment for all clients.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with therapists and other team members to ensure seamless client care and support.
  • Program Development: Contribute to the development of new and innovative approaches to client engagement and support.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a mental health setting or related field preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for supporting individuals with mental health needs.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday, with flexible scheduling options available. Our program is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that promotes professional growth and development.
