Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Veterinary Cardiology Specialist to provide exceptional patient care and support our team of cardiologists. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including:
- Obtaining medical histories and symptoms from clients
- Performing laboratory procedures, including hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals
- Assisting with diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols
- Providing nursing care, including restraining patients, administering medications, and applying and maintaining bandages
As a Veterinary Cardiology Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional patient care and support to our team of cardiologists
- Performing a variety of tasks, including laboratory procedures, diagnostic imaging, and nursing care
- Assisting with patient exams and procedures
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT)
- An Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
