Lee Spring Company is in search of a Sales Assistant to enhance our sales operations.

Role of Sales Assistant:

The Sales Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team to foster and sustain relationships with both new and existing clients. This position requires effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain collaborative working relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Custom Quote Pricing: Analyze each custom quote to establish appropriate pricing and lead times, ensuring accuracy in part numbers, descriptions, routes, and contact details.
  • Catalog Quote Management: Distribute catalog quotes to clients as necessary.
  • Order Processing: Handle both custom and stock purchase orders for designated accounts.
  • Purchase Order Follow-Up: Communicate with clients or sales representatives to obtain revised purchase orders with correct pricing and relevant details.
  • Quote Updates: Collaborate with quoting engineers to generate updated quotes for existing products.
  • Pricing Inquiries: Address customer questions regarding pricing discrepancies, conducting research to clarify differences.
  • Customer Correspondence: Inform clients about late orders, short shipments, follow-ups on custom/catalog quotes, and other pertinent issues.
  • Sales Team Support: Assist sales personnel by providing information and quick resolutions to issues that may arise during their engagements.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
