As a Campus Retail Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and aiding store management in all aspects of retail operations to ensure optimal store performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Expectations:
- Assist in processing sales transactions using cash, credit, or financial aid.
- Create a welcoming environment by greeting customers and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Take initiative in supporting store operations, including using equipment and cash registers to maintain efficient service and accurate transactions.
- Maintain store aesthetics by organizing, cleaning, and arranging products or spaces.
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Restock displays, label, date, and rotate food items for sale.
- Ensure a safe and sanitary work environment by adhering to cleaning and operational guidelines. Food handling or safety certification may be necessary in certain locations.
- Temporary roles require availability for weekly shifts for a limited duration, including some weekends, with flexible scheduling for various shifts.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent movement throughout the store to access different departments and products.
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
- Regular lifting of items.
- Occasional reaching, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
Health and Safety Considerations:
Our stores adhere to all relevant federal, state, and local guidelines regarding social distancing and sanitation. Depending on campus policies, proof of vaccination may be required, and the use of face masks may be mandated.
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
- Previous experience in food handling is preferred.
- Comfortable engaging with customers to provide an enhanced experience.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic skills in math, typing, and data entry.
- Flexible availability throughout the academic year, especially during peak times.
