Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing all phases of mechanical construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to design and implement mechanical systems.
  • Reviewing and endorsing project plans, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Monitoring project progress, addressing challenges, and taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinating with clients, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Upholding strict quality control measures, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring all work meets established standards.
  • Managing project budgets, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring timely project delivery.
  • Preparing and presenting updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Identifying potential risks and developing strategies for risk mitigation.
  • Creating and maintaining thorough project documentation.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar capacity within the construction sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing mechanical projects from inception to completion.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, mechanical systems, and quality assurance practices.
  • Strong leadership and project management capabilities, with the ability to lead teams and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a knack for making swift decisions when required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and relevant computer applications.
  • A professional engineering (PE) license is a plus.
  • A commitment to fostering a safe and healthy work environment.
