Job Summary:

This is a challenging opportunity to lead the Mechanical organization at PCI Pharma Services, a growing business that requires change leaders to drive Operational Excellence and long-term strategy to meet the demands of a broad customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of Mechanical Maintenance, Electrical Technicians, and Mechanics (Level 1-3), including system improvements, standardizing processes, and advancing technology to drive continuous improvement in the Mechanical Department.
  • Develop and implement a long-range Mechanical vision, strategies, and tactics, using systemic tools such as Lean, 6 sigma, and project management to engage and drive all levels of the organization in achieving the vision.
  • Plan and direct all aspects of mechanical engineering activities within the organization, ensuring that all mechanical engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with the organization's established policies and objectives.
  • Oversee the design of products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc., and may oversee fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical products.
  • Provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility and develop the budget.
  • Resolve escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
  • Adhere to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules, and perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 5-10 years related experience and/or training.
  • College Level Mathematical Skills.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Ability to perform basic computer tasks and operate common computer programs.
  • Minimum Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak in a way that allows one to participate effectively in various conversations.
  • Intermediate Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions that may be furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • High Standard of Report Writing.
