  • The salary range provided applies to both roles.
  • Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $600 for the Senior Medical Lab Technician role or $800 for the Medical Technologist role.

We are looking for a Senior Medical Lab Technician or Medical Technologist - Generalist to:

  • Conduct testing across various clinical laboratories, regardless of complexity.
  • Execute advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and problem-solving tasks.
  • Exhibit strong decision-making capabilities, work autonomously, and undertake teaching or training duties as necessary.
  • Collaborate effectively as a team member, fostering positive relationships with physicians, clinic personnel, and colleagues.

Qualifications:

Education:

Minimum: An associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology, or equivalent education and training that includes 60 semester hours with:

24 semester hours in medical laboratory technology courses or 24 semester hours in science courses.

Preferred: A bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology, which includes at least 60 semester hours, with:

24 semester hours in medical laboratory technology courses or a combination of 24 semester hours in chemistry, biology, and medical laboratory technology.

Work Experience:

Minimum:

For Senior Medical Laboratory Technician: One (1) year of experience in moderate and some high complexity testing in a clinical laboratory, along with successful completion of competency assessment; or two (2) years in a clinical laboratory.

For Medical Technologist: No minimum work experience required.
