Position Overview:

This is a full-time, FTE 1.0, overnight role. The schedule includes Sunday through Thursday from 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, with rotating weekends and holidays. Hours may be adjusted based on departmental requirements.

Compensation:
The salary range provided applies to both positions.

Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $3,000 for the Lead Clinical Laboratory Technician role or a $4,000 sign-on bonus for the Clinical Laboratory Scientist position.

Key Responsibilities:
As a

Lead Clinical Laboratory Technician or Clinical Laboratory Scientist - Core Services, you will:

- Execute testing procedures in clinical laboratories across various complexities.
- Engage in advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and resolution of issues.
- Exhibit strong decision-making capabilities, work autonomously, and undertake teaching and training duties as required.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, fostering positive relationships with physicians, clinic personnel, and colleagues.

Educational Requirements:
Minimum - An associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology.

OR equivalent education and training that includes 60 semester hours, which must consist of:
  • 24 semester hours in medical laboratory technology courses or
  • 24 semester hours in science courses.

Preferred - A bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.

The bachelor's degree must encompass at least 60 semester hours, including:
  • 24 semester hours in medical laboratory technology courses or
  • 24 semester hours, with 6 in chemistry, 6 in biology, and 12 in any combination of chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology.

Experience Requirements:
Minimum - For the Lead Clinical Laboratory Technician role, one (1) year of experience in performing moderate and some high complexity testing in a clinical laboratory, along with successful completion of competency assessments;

or

Two (2) years of experience in a clinical laboratory.
For the Clinical Laboratory Scientist role, no minimum experience is required.
