Job Summary:

Innova Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease by performing routine medical laboratory tests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Performance: Set up, adjust, maintain, and clean medical laboratory equipment to ensure accurate test results.
  • Result Analysis: Analyze test results and data to ensure conformity to specifications, using special mechanical and electrical devices.
  • Sample Collection: Obtain specimens, cultivate, isolate, and identify microorganisms for analysis.
  • Reporting: Analyze and record test data to issue reports that use charts, graphs, and narratives.
  • Consultation: Consult with a pathologist to determine a final diagnosis when abnormal cells are found.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in medical technology or vocational training preferred.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience required.
  • Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and basic knowledge of medical laboratory procedures.
